READING, Sept. 20. - William W. Staudt, widely known in the hosiery manufacturing industry, died this morning at his home, 1141 Marion st. He was 75.
He founded the D. S. and W. Hosiery Co. 40 years ago and was treasurer of the company at his death. He also was president of Chancellor Hosiery Mills, Inc., and Staudt Knit Hosiery, Inc.
Surviving are a son, Harold H. Staudt, president of the D. S. and W. Hosiery Co.; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Kintzer, of Wernersville; Mrs. George Teter, of New York, and Mrs. Herbert Sheidy, of Wernersville R. D. 1.
