Arden D Cheer 48, a resident of Seattle, passed away at his home.

Visitation will be held at Kern Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14m, 2016, 5:00 PM followed by prayer services at 6:00 PM.

Funeral services w2ill also be held on the Colville Reservation and Arden will be laid to rest at the Chief Joseph Cemetery in Nespelem, WA.

Arden D. Cheer 48, a resident of Seattle, passed away at his home. He was born in Seattle, on May 4, 1968, the son of Everest P. and Frances Tatshama Cheer, Sr. Arden was raised around the Shaker Church, and he practiced in the Native American Church and Sweat Lodges. Arden was a member of the Smokehouse. He loved to travel, play stick games and he had a lot of love for his family and friends. Arden was kind hearted and he was full of laughter. He was very talented at doing his bead work. He is survived by three brothers, Kenneth Lee of Oklahoma, John R. John, Jr. of La Conner, WA and Ira John of Everson, WA; sister, Annice D. (Cheer) Kaubin of La Conner, WA and numerous nieces and nephews. Arden is preceded in death by his parents, Everest P. and Frances T. Cheer, Sr.; brothers, Albert Cheer, Everest P. Cheer, Jr., Orland Cheer, Gerald Lee, Raoul Lee and Arlo Lee and sister, Lillian Lee. Visitation will be held at Kern Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 5:00 PM followed by prayer services at 6:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Monday, August 15, 2015 at 7:00 PM followed by funeral service on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM, both services will be held on the Nespelem Reservation. Local arrangements are under the care of Kern Funeral Home of Mount Vernon.
