Betty R. Brackle, 90 of Fairbury NE, passed away August 10, 2016 at Heritage Care Center in Fairbury. She was born to Lorenz Steven and Eleanor Caroline (Minges) Rasse October 27, 1925 in Fairbury, NE. Former owner of Brackle’s Market, with her husband Morgan.
Survivors are son Robert (Marcene) Brackle of Fairbury, daughters Becky Cory & Tom Batcheller of Sioux Falls, SD, Carolyn Seger of Fairbury, NE, 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband Morgan, son-in-law Donald Seger, brother Melvin, sisters Eleanor (Sis) & Miriam (Pootie).
Services will Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Fairbury with Father John Birkel officiating. A Rosary will be held Sunday August 14th at the Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Memorials will go to St. Michaels Catholic Church or the Bonham Theater Project. Burial in Fairbury Cemetery. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
