Hemschemeyer, Jeffery (1956-2016)

Jeffery J. "Hemi" Hemschemeyer, age 60, of Random Lake passed away late Wednesday evening (August 10, 2016) at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

He was born on February 2, 1956 in Seattle, Washington, a son of the late Robert and Grace (Winkel) Hemschemeyer.

He graduated from Random Lake High School in 1974.

Jeff served in the United States Marines from 1975-1977.

On October 25, 1980, he married Bonnie Miller at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Random Lake. The couple has resided in Silver Creek since the marriage.

Jeff was employed at Krier Foods in Random Lake for over 30 years and was recently employed at Kleen Test Products in Port Washington.

He enjoyed playing softball in his younger days, five days a week and weekends. He was a handy man and could fix anything and was always willing to help anyone. He loved to take his grandchildren out for rides in his Willy Jeep. He would do anything to make them smile.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years: Bonnie of Silver Creek; two daughters: Cassie (Jake) Arndt of Random Lake and Lauren (Brad) Baumann of Random Lake; six grandchildren: Mason, Cooper and Tucker Arndt and Calen, Emma and Bryson Baumann; his mother and father-in-law: Bill (Marilyn) Miller of Random Lake; seven sisters: Nancy (Ray) Stone of Prescott, AZ, Roberta Tarr of Plymouth, Patricia Scholz of New Holstein, Linda (Jeff) Wickland of Menomonee Falls, Sandra (Ernie) Rathke of Belgium, Pamela (Mike) Neu of Random Lake and Joana Hemschemeyer of Waukesha; five sisters-in-law: Esther Hemschemeyer of Sheboygan, Rhonda (Jeff) Straumfjord of Random Lake, Linda (Jim) Neumann of Random Lake, Jane (Jeff) Bichler of Random Lake and Jennifer Huiras (Fiancé : Richard Schwab) of Random Lake; three brothers-in-law: Russell (Rachel) Miller of Random Lake, Dennis (Brenda) Miller of Random Lake and Doug (Mindy) Miller of Random Lake.

He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Richard Hemschemeyer; sister: Deborah Hemschemeyer and two brothers-in-law: John Tarr and Steven Miller.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon (August 13, 2016) at 4:00 P.M. at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Burial will be at 9:30 A.M. on Monday (August15) at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Random Lake.

Visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon (August 13) at the Suchon Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services.

The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct military rites at the funeral home following the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Jeffery's name.
