Mrs. Bernice Sanders Dies In San Angelo

Mrs. Bernice Sanders, 67, died at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday at Shannon Hospital following a long illness.

Services are pending at the Robert Massie Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Sanders was born Oct. 22, 1899 in San Angelo and has been a lifelong resident of San Angelo. For the past 15 years she has lived with her daughter Mrs. W. R. Joiner, 803 South Abe Street. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one son, Alan Ellett of San Angelo; two daughters, Mrs. W. R. Joiner ad Mrs. Melvin Eckerman both of San Angelo; three brothers, Ben Garrett of Phoenix, Ariz., Claude Garrett of Bay City, and Harry Garrett of Wharton; three sisters, Miss Tommie Garrett and Miss Rossye Garrett, and Mrs. Paul Taylor, all of San Angelo; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
