Mrs. Loretta Fletcher Sanders, 84, widow of Robert E. Sanders Sr. died Wednesday, August 14, 2002.
Born in Monroe, N.C. she was the daughter of the late Emsley G. Fletcher and Alma Fletcher Eidson. She was the owner of Sanders Income Tax and Bookkeeping Service, and former manager of S.C. Employment Security Commission of Barnwell Office. She was a member of the Barnwell First Baptist Church and the Thelma Smoak Sunday School Class.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Libbus and Everette Sanders of Barnwell, Leslie and Herman Brown of Ehrhardt; two sisters, Alice F. Hardy of Orangeburg, and Barbara E. Stack of St. Mathews; grandchildren, Robert Rutherford, Lisa R. Boatwright, Wayne R. Rutherford Jr., Terry Lynn Carter, Del Brown, Tommy Scruggs, Lisa S. Akens; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Speedy Sanders Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Barnwell First Baptist Church with the Rev. Posey Belcher and Rev. Steve Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mole Funeral Home.
