Grace M. Petska, age 94, of 130 Cherry Ave. Francis Creek entered into eternal life, Sunday August 7, 2016 at the Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay. She was born February 1, 1922 in Tisch Mills to the late Frank and LaDonia Dvorny Riha. She attended the Mishicot Grade School. In 1936 she moved to Maribel with her grandparents, Anton and Emma Dvorny. She attended the Denmark High School. Grace was employed at the Petska Grocery Store and later was a waitress for her father and step-mother. She married William Petska February 14, 1942 in Denmark, and he preceded her in death February 7, 1997. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law: Sharon and Allen Skubal, of Mishicot, a deeply loved grandaughter, who was her pride and joy: Corrie Jo Skubal, of Manitowoc, a dear sister and brother-in-law: Beverly and Dan Skaletski, of Denmark, her dearly loved nieces and nephews: Deanne and Joe DeNoble, and their children: Eric, Heather and Nick, Karrie and Greg Woulf, and their children: Brett, Jeffery, and Rachel, Lori and Bart Gezella, and their children: Meg, Jacob and Zachary, Cheryl and Chris Darawelle, and their children: Brynn and Kade, Dean Skaletski and his daughter: Shaina, Grace Watkins, Sandra and Lloyd Pantzlaff and their family: Andrew, Candace, and Betsy, and her dear friend: Shirley Blattler. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by her step sisters: Emily Warren, Mamie Konop, Rose Rameker, Carol Chvala, her step-brother: Jim Chvala, and by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Erna Moore, Marie and Erniel Hansen.Private family funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 So. State St., Mishicot with Pastor Brett LaChappelle officiating, burial followed in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.
