Allan P. Bresett, 77 of Mexico died Monday evening at his home. He was born in Governuer, NY, the son of the late Floyd and Pauline Teal Bresett. He worked for the Weatherization Program for Oswego County, Social Services and the Weatherization Program for Cornell Cooperative Extension in Mexico. He was a Truck Driver for Time D.C. Trucking of Syracuse. He was predeceased by his wife, Hazel, in 2002 and by his brother, Floyd Bresett. Allan is survived by his four daughters, Penny (Marc) Greene of Mexico, Alane (Ray) Webster of Mexico, Sue (Friend, Royal) McConnell of Mexico and Brenda (John) Rastley of Mexico; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; along with two sisters, Claire Clement of Fowler NY and Donna Weaver of Governeur NY. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Avenue, Mexico NY. Burial will be private. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
