Helen M. Bancroft, 75, of St. Johns died January 21, 1994 at her home. She was born in St. Johns May 27, 1918, the daughter of J. Clyde Shatto and Anna Atherton. She lived all her life in Clinton County. Mrs. Bancroft married Guy Bancroft on June 24, 1935 in St. Johns. He preceded her in death by April 26, 1985. She retired from Federal Mogul as an Inspector. Surviving are (three sons, one daughter). She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 grandsons, William Bancroft and Donald Gladstone. Service was at Osgood Funeral Home January 24, 1994 with Pastor Bob Ditmer officiating. Interment was at Eureka Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Clinton County
