Everyone involved in her life considered Mariana a saint. Why? Because she loved to help everyone who crossed her life to the last day that she lived on this earth. Even 60 years after her death, people still admire and love her and speak beautiful things about her. People used to go to her house just to talk to her and pass the time of day with her. She would always serve food and Cuban coffee after the meal regardless of the time of day. She would always stop whatever she was doing to attend to her guests' needs, and that was her normal habit. That is the reason why everyone that knew her loved her so much, because she was always very interested in everybody else's problems and she would always help them solve them. I am her grandson, Rev. George E. Gonzalez, Sr, and I declare before the whole world, and am very proud to say so, that I have had the best grandmother in the whole, wide world. Amen to that.
