This heroic man was born in Hackensack New Jersey on July 13, 1935. He lost his battle with Milo Fibrosis in Bristol, Rhode Island on February 26, 2003. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his four children, Megan, Lisa, John and Jimmy; and his nine special grandchildren James, Michael, Devon, Cara, Brynn, Troy, April, Zoe and Ryann.
John was a graduate of both Hackensack High and Rutgers University where he excelled in both academics and football. After moving his wife and children to Massachusetts he became VP of Data Processing for Sheraton Corporation headquartered in Boston. John was a runner and run he could. He ran the Boston Marathon as well as local road races; sometimes having one of the kids ride beside him to keep him posted on his pace time. John was the ultimate family man; never missing a day of work and always coming through the door at night with a whistle and a smile. After retiring a couple years early to be with his wife and to travel, he was diagnosed with a terminal illness known as Milo Fibrosis (a form of Leukemia). The doctor's left him with four years to live which he did to its fullest. John fought hard in everything he did from work, taking care of his spouse and being the ultimate dad! John is and will continue to be missed every day of every year. We all love you dad!
