Ed with Lucky in 2000. The tatoo on his right arm is an eagle with a rising sun. The ribbon in the eagle's talons reads "Lucky"...Ed's nickname during WWII.

The "Madonna of LaSalle Gardens" grotto that Ed built in his backyard during the mid-1960s. It was made of various scrap stone and topped with white marble. The statue rests in an old bathtub. The drain hole was positioned behind the head of the statue and wired, so a light bulb can be placed in to illuminate it from behind the statue. It really looked like a vision at night!

The Iacovo House (1956) in Detroit. Ed designed and built this entire house, except for the electrical work. Note the sandstone, varigated brick and glass block detail.

Ed designed & created this built-in entertainment center in the early 1960s, surrounding a window. The wall hanging at left is one of his sculptures: a plaster rendering of the face of Jesus.
