Charlotte Ann Deats, 75, of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Patty Bruce and Kathy Whittaker; six grandchildren Melissa, Jayme, Crystal, T.J., Lucas and Kaitlyn; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother Bobby Deats (Dorothy); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Fannie Deats; her lifetime companion, Ike Forbes; two brothers Freddie and Robert Deats; and one sister Ruby Forbus.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Confederate Cemetery, Spotsylvania.
