Margie was a very loving and caring person and she treated everyone with kindness and compassion. She connected easily with everyone so no one was ever a stranger. The bible was always a source of comfort and enjoyment for her, and she shared her love for the word of God freely with others. She loved to cook and was well known for her skills in the kitchen, in particular her delicious desserts, such as her chocolate pie and applesauce stack cake. She loved to crochet, read, write letters, and play the accordion and organ, but most of all she enjoyed talking to others.
She is survived by her three sons, Gary Griffin (Theresa), Alvin Griffin, and Gaylen Griffin (Wendy); a daughter, Melody Porter (Keith); two brothers, Sam Williams and Marshall Williams Sr. (Virginia); as well as her sister, Elizabeth White.
