MARRIAGE: Mari Louise's marriage is commented on in an article in the Batavia History website:-
'William M. (VanNortwick) built a large mansion on the northeast corner of South Batavia Avenue and First Street, immediately south of his father's home. It was there that, his daughter Mari Louise married U. S. Senator Guy Goff of West Virginia .'

DEATH: Senator Goff, along with daughter Louise Despard Goff, are recorded in the Wisconsin State census (1 Jun 1905) in Milwaukee. So its highly likely that Mari Louise died in Milwaukee too, just a few months before that census was taken.

DAUGHTER: Mari Louis and Senator Guy Goff had a daughter Louise Despard Goff who became the Republican Congressional Representative for Tennessee from 1961–1963.
