Brian Douglas Adams, 36, of Louisville, died Sept. 2, 2006, at Saints Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.

He was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church and was a chef at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Survivors include his wife, the former Starr Powell; a daughter, Morgen Adams; a son, Zachary Adams; parents Leonard and Midge Adams; and a brother, Gary Adams.

Services were Sept. 6 at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with the Rev. Benny Phelps of Parkway Baptist Church and Rev. Rick Bowden of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church officiating.

Pallbearers were Jim Stetson, Mathew Knopf, Jason Priest, Robby Barker, Dwayne Powell, Chef Jacen and Chef Jim.

Burial took place in Floydsburg Cemetery.

Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood handled arrangements.
