The accident was on February 26 and he died at about 10:30 p.m. on March 6.
E. L. Beyers, of Montpelier, Vt., died of burns received in a gasoline explosion on Key Largo while working on the Overseas Highway. He was transported to Homestead, where he died in the Post Graduate Hospital. The body was removed to Bedford, Indiana for burial. The story said he was 32 years old and that his wife and brother made the request for the transportation of the body to Indiana.
