LITTLE FALLS -- Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Stanislaus, Bowlus, for Ignatius Trutwin, 81, a resident of St. Otto's Home, who died Tuesday at St. Gabriels Hospital. The Rev. Silverius Schmitt will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today and one hour before services Thursday at Brenny Funeral Home, Royalton. The rosary will be prayed at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home in Royalton followed by parish prayers at 8.
Ignatius Trutwin was born July 28, 1906 [?], in Two Rivers township, Morrison County, to Simon and Sophia (Waverek) Trutwin. He farmed in the Little Falls area and was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
Survivors include sisters, Marcella and Mrs. Susan Trettel, Royalton, and Mrs. George (Agnes) Schlichting, Rice. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be Richard Johnson, David Schlichting, Nick Sobieck, Alfred and Angelo Tretter and Claude Trutwin.
