ASHLEY -- Ada Chandler Ruggles, 2189 Morrow County Road 156, died early Sunday at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware.
Born Feb. 26, 1900, in Richwood, she was the daughter of Emma (Chandler) and Theodore Chapman.
They preceded her in death along with her husband, Walter, and two daughters, Doris Shaw and Laverna Holtz.
Mrs. Ruggles was a 63-year resident of Morrow County and a member of Westfield Methodist Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Opal Nichols, Donna Martin, Freda Weiser, Rose Marie Hayes, Dorothy Lang and Mary Cowles, all Ashley; a son, Jacob R. Ruggles, Marengo; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bennett-Brown Funeral Home, Ashley, with the Rev. Kip Miller of Fulton Church of the Nazarene, and the Rev. John Louthain of Westfield Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Waldo Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
