He was retired from Du Pont and was a member of Humphreys Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving: wife, Kathleen; sons, William O. Jr. of Tampa, Fla., and Samuel of Coral Springs, Fla.; daughter, Mrs. Ralph Yeager of Mequon, Wis.; five grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Parker Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
