Howard B. Keith, 67, died at 10:30 pm Sunday at in Galloway after an illness of 4 years. He was born in Sugarcreek Township July 8, 1879, son of Heister and Rachel Keeley Keith.
He was a pumper on an oil lease by trade, and worked for the Grant Estate.
In 1900 he married Miss Viola Starr, who survives, with a son, James Wallace Keith of Galloway; four brothers, Verne, Curtis, Roscoe and Clifford of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. George Stokes of Franklin, and Mrs. O. A. Davis of Buffalo, NY; and 5 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home with Rev. Frank A. Towers officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
