Rachel L. Orr, 47, of 115 Park Avenue, Prospect Park, died Wednesday following a 10 day illness in the Franklin Hospital. The daughter of Vern and Mary Starr Keith, she was born July 30, 1911, in Sugarcreek township.
She attended the Baker Hill Evangelical United Brethren Church and worked in the Polk State School laundry for eight years.
On April 16, 1930, at Mayfield, NY, she married David J. Orr, who survives, with sons David H. Orr of Rocky Grove, Donald R. Orr of Cranberry; daughter Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Sutley of Prospect Park, and Kathleen Orr at home; a grandchild; two brothers, Dale Keith of Hawthorne, CA, and Wayne Keith of Galloway; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Cratty of Oak Hill, Mrs. Roy (Priscilla) Lusher of Mapledale, and Mrs. James (Leona) Ritchey of Oak Hill.
Services will be at Burger Funeral Home with Rev. William P. McCray, pastor of the Galloway Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
