OBITUARY - Mrs. Ruth Avery
Mrs. Ruth Avery died suddenly yesterday at her home at 36 Clarke street. Mrs. Avery was born in Williston August 27, 1859, and most of her life was passed in nearby towns including Burlington, where she practiced the profession of nursing for several years. She leaves in her immediate family two daughters, Mrs. C. M. Johnson of Jamestown, N.Y., and Mrs. R. E. Beckley of Birmingham, Mich., one son, Wesley Connor of Pennsylvania and three sisters, Mrs. Lida LaBelle of Essex Junction, Mrs. Ella Gero of Franklin and Mrs. Mabel Tyndall of Fremont, Neb. The body was taken to the Gurney funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be completed upon the arrival of Mrs. Avery's children.
