FENNVILLE, MI - Melvin Arthur Taylor, 47, passed away at his home in Fennville, Michigan, on Saturday, September 22, 2007. Melvin was born in Watervliet, Michigan, to the late Raymond and Elizabeth Taylor on July 26, 1960. He graduated from Andrews University where he received a B.S. in engineering. Melvin was employed by Key Gas Components in Allegan, Michigan. He enjoyed riding his bike, being on the computer, or spending time at his children's sporting events. On November 24, 1984, Melvin married Teresa Ahlers at a ceremony in Hudson, Michigan. They later divorced. Melvin is survived by four sons, a daughter, one brother, a sister, and seven half brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. in Brown Funeral Home. A time of fellowship and visitation will take place following the funeral in the hall at St. Mary Catholic Church. The family has requested that memorials be made to the children's college fund in care of the family. A message may be left for the family at www.brownfuneralhomeniles.com.
