Imadene Richardson, 89, of Mountain View passed from this life on August 17, 2016 at Calico Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Richardson was born January 22, 1927 to the late William and Martha (Goodman) King in Flag, Arkansas.
Imadene was a member of The Church of God in Mountain View Arkansas. She and her husband, Cline, owned and operated Alco Grocery for many years. Later, she worked for the Ozark Folk Center in the General Store. Imadene enjoyed being a seamstress. Love was sewn into every stitch, whether she was quilting, crocheting, or making clothing for others.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha (Goodman) King; her beloved husband of fifty six years, Cline Richardson; brothers, Aubrey King, Earl King, and William King; two sisters, Mavis Hagger and Elizabeth “Lizzie” King; one grandson, Alan Womack; and one son-in-law Eugene Gibbs.
Visitation will be held Friday August 19, 2016 from 12 pm- 2 pm at The Church of God on Hwy 87 in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Funeral services are Friday August 19, 2016 at 2 pm at The Church of God on Hwy 87 Mountain View, Arkansas. Interment will take place at Alco Cemetery in Alco, Arkansas.
