Andrew Joseph Eunice, 86 ,of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon and Russia Eunice; as well as nine siblings. Mr. Eunice served in the United States Coast Guard and was the former owner of Steve's Hotdogs on Brandon Avenue for many years where he treated all customers as dear friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ruby Eunice; stepson, Ray Pillow and wife, Gayle; two step grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of special friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2011, one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held at noon on Friday, June 3, 2011, at Oakey's South Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Phillips Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
