Thomas Ray Adams was born April 28, 1934 in North Carolina. While in the U.S. Navy in California, he met his wife in a cafe; it was love at first sight. He married his lovely bride after knowing her for three days. In 1955 they moved back to Everett and lived there for 42 years. They recently moved to Marysville. Tom loved life and had a strong faith in God that kept him going. He believed that he would see his Maker someday.

Tom is survived by his wife of 46 years, Audrey Adams; his mother-in-law, Marguerite Schwab; three daughters, Audrey (Craig) Harris, Marguerite (Bob) Bartlett, and Barbara Gibbons; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Jay and Marion.

Viewing will be held at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Stanwood, May 4 through May 9, 2001. Services will be held at Cedarhome Seventh Day Adventist Church, 28505 68th Ave NW, Stanwood, May 10, 2001 at 1 p.m., followed by graveside services at Our Saviour's Lutheran Cemetery, Stanwood. Refreshments will be served at the Cedarhome church afterwards. In lieu of flowers, please make your donations to the Marysville Fire Department, 1635 Grove Street, Marysville, WA 98271, in behalf of Thomas R. Adams.
