Services for David Ross Peaslee, 28, Fort Dodge, Iowa, formerly of Kansas City, who died Friday of injuries he suffered in a boating accident July 6 at the Lake of the Ozarks, will be held ar 11 a.m. Monday at the Newcomer Chapel; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the chapel.
The Water Patrol in Jefferson City said Peaslee was thrown over the railing when a speed boat ran into his pontoon. He was caught by the propellers of the speedboat, the patrol said. The patrol said the accident occurred near Wells Resort on the lake.
Mr. Peaslee was born here and had lived in Fort Dodge 18 months. He was a district manager for the General Motors Corporation in Des Moines.
He leaves a son of the home; his mother, Mrs. Annabelle Peaslee, 2230 E. 77th Terrace; a stepsister, Mrs. Carolyn Mayer, 6827 W. 97th Terrace, Overland Park, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Martino, 2230 E. 77th Terrace.
