Gerald Alfred Brown was born and raised in Harlem, New York. He was the son of Alfred "Freddie" Robinson Brown and Delores K. "Dee" Richardson Brown . He was born on the same day as his grandmother Lillian Richardson , November 3rd. He was the nephew of Raymond "Ray" Brown and Lucille Brown . He attended DeWitt Clinton High School He honorably served in the united States Army during the Vietnam War. His intellect and convictions were powerful and clear. He was a lover of knowledge, people, Africa and music. You wouldn't want to get into a debate with Jerry, it did not matter what the topic was, you would more than likely, give up. Jerry was a very snazzy dresser, everything had to match. Jerry loved to dance and was very good at it. Jerry as he was called, had a talented family, two uncles who could sing very well. He was the proud father of his daughter,Ayana and his son, Malik. He was very well liked by everyone. Remember him when you celebrfate Kwanza.
