Gary L. Fay, 44, of Marseilles, formerly of Riverton, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at Rivershores Health Center in Marseilles.
He was born Nov. 28, 1943, in Riverton, the son of Arthur L. and Nina L. Fay.
At the time of his death, Mr. Fay had been employed for 20 years by Borg-Warner Co. in Ottawa.
Surviving are his wife, Linda E. Goodall Fay; one son, Patrick Fay at home; two daughters, Banita Ann Fay of Bloomington and Barbara Jean Fay of Springfield; his mother, Mrs. Nina L. Fay of Riverton; one brother, Dale E. Fay of Riverton; three sisters, Mrs. James (Shirley) Goodall of Springfield, Mrs. James (Louise) Lard of Urbana, and Dianna S. Fay of Little Chute, Wis.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ottawa Funeral Home, Ottawa.
