Dennis A. Laughlin, 70, of DuBois, Pa., passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown, Pa.
He was born in DuBois, Pa., on April 21, 1946, the son of the late Andrew S. and Almetta (Henneman) Laughlin.
Dennis graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1964, and served in the Army Reserves from 1965–1971.
He was employed by McDowell Manufacturing for 35 years until its closing in 2000. He was also a Highway Contractor for the U.S. Postal Service.
Dennis was a life member of the Oklahoma Fire Department, a life member of the Old Town Beagle Club and a board member of the Rumbarger Cemetery Preservation Society.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Frantz) Laughlin; daughters, Darlene (Scott) Stuart and Denise (Jay) Heffner, all of DuBois; three grandchildren, Andrea (Kyle) Kunes, Sara and Melissa Stuart; one brother, Gary (Margaret) Laughlin of Delmont, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, lnc., DuBois; a service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with the Rev. Barry Fillman officiating. Interment will take place at Morningside Cemetery.
