Etta Jo Bell, 92, of Royston, GA passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

Mrs. Bell was born in Royston, GA on February 26, 1924, daughter of the late Tom Smith and Etta Carey Smith. She was a seamstress having worked at Oxford Manufacturing and a member of the Goldmine Church of God.

Survivors include a son, Billy Joe Bell of Danielsville, GA; daughter, Rosemary Gray of Hartwell, GA; brother, Carey Smith of Royston, GA; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, B. T. Bell; sons, Dwight Keith Bell and B. T. Bell, Jr.; grandchild, Brian Keith Bell; brother, Sonny Smith; and sisters, Veba Phillips, Millie Horne, Lula Crowe, Mary Jean Smith and Tommie Lou Rice.

Funeral services will be held at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, August 22, 2016 with Rev. Malcolm Herndon officiating. Interment will follow in the Pennington Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Pruitt Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour on Monday afternoon. The family is at the home.
