Charles Andrew Trahern

Charles Andrew Trahern, of Flagler, formerly of Boulder, died of lung cancer Monday, June 12, 2006, in Hugo. He was 75.
The son of James Trahern and Elmo Droz Trahern, he was born Aug. 11, 1930, in Sublette, Kan. He married Ina Lou Murphy on June 10, 1951, in Flagler.
Mr. Trahern lived in Boulder from 1965 until 1995.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, during which he served with the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Trahern worked at IBM as a computer programmer. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed playing golf, once scoring a hole in one from 151 yards.
Survivors include his wife, of Flager; three sons, Charles Lynn Trahern, of Mead, Robert Steve Trahern, of Longmont, and Calvin Trahern, of Broomfield; a daughter, Brenda Louise Barger, of Alabama; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services have been held.
