LAKELAND - Evelyn M. Hoog, of Lakeland, died January 22, 2009. She was 91. She died from natural causes.

Evelyn was born on October 29, 1917 in Jefferson County, AL. Mrs. Hoog was a homemaker and a lifelong volunteer here in Lakeland. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert; Survived by her 4 children Thomas Hoog of Kettering, OH, Donna Rose of Natchitoches, LA, Trudy Kimble of Owensboro, KY, and Gary Hoog of St. Augustine, FL. 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Donations may be made to the Florida Presbyterian Homes, First Presbyterian Church Teen Missions of Lakeland, or to a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Florida Presbyterian Homes. Condolences may be sent to the family at heathfuneralchapel.com.
