Leonard "Slick" Hall Jr. of Lola Powell Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tennessee. He was 88 years, 4 months and 1 day of age. He was born on February 24, 1926 in Campbell County, Tennessee to the late Leonard Hall Sr. and Mary (Douglas) Hall. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Billy Hall and George Hall; and a sister, Margie Hall Worley.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 42 years, Lola Powell Hall of Williamsburg, Kentucky; her children, Johnny Powell and his wife Charlotte of Carrollton, Kentucky, the late Billy Powell and his wife Shirley of Lafollette, Tennessee, Carlo Powell and his wife Brenda of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Kenny Powell and his wife Carol of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Willie Powell and his wife Karen of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Elijah Powell of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Maxine Powell Jones of Williamsburg, Kentucky; grandchildren, Renea Davenport and husband T.J. and children, Daven, Trey and Mckayla, Carolyn Lawson and her husband Paul and their children, Jacob and Kaitlyn, Jimmy Anderson and his wife Linda and children, Arissa, Jimmy, Ryan, Sierra, Justin, Ashley and Jason, Jeffery Powell and his wife Sabrina and their children, Patrick, Victoria and Allie, Scott Powell and his wife Holly and their children, Chandler and Cooper, Noble Powell and his wife Marlena and their children, Madeline and Owen, Brian Powell and his wife Hannah, Johnathan Powell, Tina Grubb and her husband Phillip and their children, Brandon, Katina and Serina, Billy John and his wife Elizabeth and their children, Zachariah, Charles, Gracie and the late Sheila Powell, Jason Powell and his wife Robin and their children, Jared and Courtney and the late Shane Powell; one sister, Helen Goodrich of Alexandria, Indiana;and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
The Funeral Service will be at 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. He will be laid to rest following a Graveside Service at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Douglas Cemetery in Oswego, Tennessee.
