Eliza was the daughter of Charles and Hannah S. (Hall) Odiorne. She married Ben M. Austin, a widower, on April 3, 1872 in Portsmouth. Some years after Ben's death she married Elbridge O. Chase of Lynn, on June 28, 1903 in Somerville, Mass. After Elbridge died Eliza continued to live in the house that she shared with him. Eliza was eighty at the time of her death.
