Joan Michael,53,of Pine Bluff, died June 2,1998,at University Hospital in Little Rock.
She was born on August 18,1944, at Morrilton, a daughter of the late Arthur Allen Young and Jewell Marilyn Stovall Young.
She was raised and educated at Pine Bluff and graduated from Dollarway High School. She lived at Pine Bluff most of her adult life. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert N. Michael, whom she married on January 28,1963, at Pine Bluff; a son, Kenneth Allen Michael of Pine Bluff; a daughter, Tracy Lynn Michael Miller of Rowell, and a grandmother, Clara Black Stovall Burr of Pine Bluff.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. Albert Michael officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery near Pine Bluff.
