Agnes was the daughter of Hugh KELLY and Agnes KILDAY. She married Nelson Earl SIMMONS in 1919, in Ohio. One child was born to the marriage: Nelson Simmons (1920-1992). Agnes was widowed in 1924. In 1940, Agnes and her son Nelson were living in Akron, Ohio. On April 12, 1945, in Summit County, Ohio, she married Raymond Ferrier HUFFORD. Mr. Hufford died in 1966.
Her obituary named her as "Mrs. Agnes S. Hufford." Her gravestone names her as "Agnes P. Simmons."

Mrs. Agnes S. Hufford, 74, of 1779 Preston Av., died Sunday at City Hospital after a long illness. A native of Scotland, she had lived in Akron since 1927, retired in 1964 after 37 years at Goodyear. She was a member of the Goodyear Wingfoot Girls Club.
She leaves a son, Nelson Simmons, Akron; brothers, Robert Kelly, Akron, and Patrick Kelly, Lawton, Mich.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hopkins Canton Rd. Chapel, where friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
