BOWIE - Rev. Billy Wayne Tipton, 72, of Nocona, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006 in Nocona.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Montague Holiness Church, Montague, Texas, with Rev. L.V. Shaw and Rev. Greg Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Montague Cemetery under the direction of Heritage Family Funeral Home.
Rev. Tipton was an ordained minister.
Survivors include wife, Cleo Tipton; son, Clifford Tipton of St. Jo; two daughters, Dorothy Hutchison of Montague and Patti Porter of Portalis, N.M.; mother, Lola Tipton of Bowie; two brothers, Harvey Tipton Sr. of Montague and Raymond Tipton of Lewisville, Idaho; sister, Dortha Cantwell of Bowie; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
