Minnie Parthena McNamara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McNamara, was born in this city November 23, 1880, where she lived until eight years ago, at which time the family moved to Indianapolis. On Sept. 8, 1909, she was united in marriage to Julius G. Kratz, of Jeffersonville. this union was blessed with twin babies May 1, 1912. Following their birth a tumor developed, making an operation necessary, which was performed August 31. She was getting along nicely until Thursday, Sept. 12, when peritonitis developed. All that human skill and love could devise was exerted in her behalf, but the will of God prevailed and she was called to her long home on Monday, Sept. 16. Her remains were taken to the M. E. church, where services will be conducted by Rev. Coffin. Interment in Riverside.
