WHITT--- Vonnie L Whitt, 59, of 3504 Pinecrest, died Sunday in a local hospital. A native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, she was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Harley O. Whitt; 3 daughters, Shirely K. Jones, Brenda Ray, and Zina Skinner; sister Pauline Hobbs; 3 grandchildren; and her sister-in-law Ruth Campbell. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Giddens-Griffith Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave., with Rev. Hubert Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the Riverside Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bobby Register, Paul Mosley, Darren Sullivan, Andy Ward, Gary Skinner, and David Register.
