Henry T. Bacon, 80, a patient at Bel-Wood Nursing Home, died there Sunday.
Mr. Bacon previously made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Schwab of 805 W. Fairmont Dr.
He was a potato broker associated with Bacon Brothers of Chicago, retiring several years ago. Upon his retirement he moved from his home in Maywood to North Miami Beach, Fla.
He was born at Somerville, N.J., March 21, 1897, a son of Sylvester Roe and Louise Anderson Bacon. He married Lillian Buchner at Chicago on June 30, 1923. She died at North Miami Beach, Fla., Aug. 28, 1971.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Schwab and Mrs. Fred (Lois) Zeigler, both of Peoria, and Mrs. R. S. (Darlene) Noerenberg of Naperville; two sisters, Mrs. Violet Laubly of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Ethel Dunlap of Beloit, Wis.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
