Ann E. Ellie (Price) Avallon, age 76, of Quincy, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Weymouth, surrounded by her loving family. She was born, raised and educated in South Boston. Ann had lived in Quincy for twenty years, previously living in South Boston. She was a former resident of 1000 Southern Artery in Quincy. Ann worked as a coordinator in an immunology laboratory at the former New England Medical Center in Boston for thirty years. She was also a devoted homemaker. Beloved mother of Donna M. Lindsey and her husband Scott of Florida, Robin A. Davis-Avallon of Florida, Anne F. McCann and her husband James, Michelle M. Avallon, Janice M. Avallon-Maloof and her husband Elias of Quincy and Christine J. Fielders and her husband Jeff of Plymouth. Loving grandmother of sixteen grandchildren and great-grandmother of twelve great-grandchildren. Devoted sister of James Jimmy Price and his wife Phyllis of New York and the late Frances Fran Albanese. She was also the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Cheryl Deeley of Hingham. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Friday, April 29, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 | 8 p.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
