She was born the daughter of John G. and Margaret Hensler Watson.
She married Urban A. Godsil on Oct. 28, 1939 in Galesburg, Ill. He died March 6, 1991.
She is survived by a daughter, M. Jolene (and Bill) Gibbs of Rio, Ill., a sister, Marjorie Venegoni of Morton, Ill; (2) grandchildren; and (7) g-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by a son, John, and a grandson, John.
She was a surgical assistant at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, a line worker a Admiral, and a housekeeper for several homes in Galesburg.
She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, it's Altar and Rosary Society, Third Order of Carmelites, and Knox County Home Extension.
Watson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
