He was born January 10,1960 at Lawrence, Kansas the son of Gail R. and Shirley M.(Beckman) Carrell. As a young boy, he attended the Forgan,Oklahoma school system, graduating from Forgan High School in 1978. After his education, he began his career as an oilfield hand, traveling to various communities. In 1990 he became disabled and lived a majority of his life in Austin,Texas before moving back to the Southwest Kansas area in 201l.
He enjoyed reading and sporting events.
He is survived by his parents, Gail and Shirley Carrell of Ingalls,Ks, sister Gayla Rodenbur and husband Leonard of Ingalls,KS.;two nieces, Raelynn Carrell and Rheann Rodenbur, a nephew, Ryan Carrell.
Vigil services were held on Wednesday,August 31,2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Morutuary, Meade,KS. Graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday,September 1,2016 at Graceland Cemetery,Meade,KS. Cremation has taken place.
