"Mrs. Viola A. Vining, 78, last surviving charter member of the Belle chapter No. I64, OES, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vera, Davis, 1016 Williams St., Monday afternoon.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Nina Loomis, Mrs. Vera Davis and Mrs. Edith Evans all of Jackson and Mrs. Geraldine Morton of Chicago; one son, Kenneth Vining of Jackson; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Preston, Mrs. Alta Howe and Mrs. Harriett Gates, all of Jackson; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
The body will remain at Patience-Montgomery funeral parlors until 1 p.m. Thursday, when it will be taken to the East Liberty Universalist church for funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will be at the East Liberty Cemetery."
