Sandy Abbott went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 19, 2016. Sandy was born in Winston Salem, NC on July 20, 1943. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Fred Abbott, her three children, Terri Bowman (Joel), David Abbott (Betty) and Lenny Abbott (Shari), seven grandchildren, Jessica Moreno, Joshua Curole, Jay Bowman, Aaron Abbott, Brittany Snow, Hannah Grant and William Wilkinson, eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00am in the chapel of Fraser Funeral Home followed by interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
