MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -Bishop Henry James Anderson, 73, of Mount Vernon, N.Y., and formerly of Martinsville, died Oct. 10, 2004, in Mount Vernon. He was born Oct. 18, 1931, in Red Jacket, W.Va., to David and Coreen Baykins Anderson.
He served in the Army. He was pastor of the Community Apostolic Church in Mount Vernon and diocese bishop of the Leeward Islands for the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ organization.
Surviving are his wife, Annie Penn Anderson; a daughter, Janice A. David; two sons, Anthony Anderson and David Anderson; a brother, Charlie Anderson.
Burial will be in Carver Memorial Gardens.
