MUSCATINE, Iowa - Audrey Pearl Babbitt, 80, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016, at her home.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at St. Mathias Church. The Reverend Hai Dinh will officiate. Casket bearers will be her sons and grandsons. A time of food and fellowship will be held following the mass at Gannon Hall. Burial will take place in Conesville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Bob Babbitt. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com

Audrey was born on July 21, 1936, in Muscatine, the daughter of Ivan and Ethel Hayes Ray. She was a graduate of Muscatine High School. Her marriages include Joe Fry, Larry McDaniel and Gene Lamoreux. She married Robert 'Bob' Babbitt on August 16, 1975.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family. She also enjoyed bingo and going to yard sales. She participated in horseshoe tournaments and won several awards.

Those left to honor her memories include her husband, Bob Babbitt of Muscatine; four sons, Mike Fry of Mt. Pleasant, Scott McDaniel and wife, Melissa, of Wapello, Steve Lamoreux of Moscow, and Robert D. Babbitt and wife, Lisa, of Muscatine; three daughters, Linda Cambridge and husband, Jim, of Muscatine, Terri Zane and husband, John, of Kewanee, Illinois, and Christine Ralls of Ely; she has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter; one brother, Dan Fowlie and wife, Betty, of Muscatine; and two sisters, Iris Moore of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and June Adam of Bettendorf.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jack Ray; and one sister, Gloria Reed.
