Keith was born on September 14, 1946, in Alpena to the late Angus and Lelia (Loomis) Atkinson. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 – 1968. Keith was engaged in trucking and farming for several years.
Surviving are, the love of his life, Debra Wells; 2 sons, Brian (Stacey) Atkinson, Arthur Atkinson; 5 grandchildren, Sierra, Cynthia, Brandon, Kristina, Samantha; 8 siblings, Margaret Smalley, Wesley “Jim” Atkinson, Carolyn (Rochford) Neville, Charles (Lucinda) Atkinson, Shirley (Donald) Kowalski, Dale (Linda) Atkinson, Sharron (John) Tinker, Harvey (Debbie) Atkinson; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Atkinson is at the Bannan Funeral Home – Hillman where visitation will take place on Friday from 2 – 8 p.m. and will continue on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lisa Kelley officiating.
Interment: Hillman Rust Twp. Cemetery
